A discussion on obesity will include degrees of obesity, significant comorbidities, treatment and psychological implications.

Course Objectives:

1. Identify the degrees of obesity

2. Identify common comorbidities associates with obesity

3. Discuss some pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to obesity

4. Identify psychological impact of obesity

5. Discuss weight-related trauma and how it’s impact can last into adulthood
